FIND A JOB ABROAD
You are going to do a project whose main aim is to prepare you to find a job. Take your time to thoroughly do all the tasks to feel confident with the information you find. Prepare a summary file in which you’ll gather all the necessary information so that you can have easy access to it.

The purpose of this project is to provide you with the resources and skills necessary in finding a job in English.
During the project you will be involved in the following activities:
- using a job portal in English to find the position you’re interested in
- filtering the job offers to find exactly what you want
- learning about the requirements of a given job and other relevant information
- discussing your choice and the advantages and disadvantages of a particular job offer
Read the following article and prepare to talk about the pros of getting a job abroad.
In the article, you will find other information as well. Be ready to discuss the following questions:
- What may stop people from working aborad?
- What are five different ways of starting your career in a foreign company?
Go to the following website and look for a job offer for yourself:
Use the left panel to filter the offers so that you can find the ones interesting for you.
Once you’ve found an interesting job offer, move on to Task 3.
Read the details in both offers and try to find the following information:
1. Name of the position
2. Salary range
3. Job type (contract, full time, temporary, etc.)
4. Requirements
5. Responsibilities
Make notes regarding the abovementioned information and any other that is useful in making a decision about applying for it. When you’ve done that, move to Task 4.
Prepare to compare both offers and present their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, decide which offer would be better for you and prepare to explain why.
